About Me

I have been working as a college and graduate school essay adviser since 2006. Having earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree in English, I  have also been teaching English since 2006. I currently teach AP Language and Composition and AP Capstone/Seminar at West Boca Community High School. Prior to this position, I spent 15 years at  Atlantic Community High School in the esteemed International Baccalaureate program. I am certified to teach English and reading at all grade levels and have taught IB, AP, and AICE courses.

Prior to working in public education, I taught advertising at an accredited private advertising school in Miami, The Miami Ad School. Simultaneously, I worked as an advertising copywriter, creating and writing both television and print advertisements for creative ad agencies. Some of my more notable ad campaigns included tv and print for The Nashville Ballet, The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, The Whitehall Hotel in Chicago, The Greater Miami Convention & Visitor’s Bureau/Miami Tourism and more.

Because of my extensive experience in both teaching and marketing, I have been successful at helping students draw out their voice and present (market) themselves in the most positive way possible to gain admission to their college and grad programs of choice. While no adviser can make guarantees, students who work with me have been exceedingly successful at gaining admittance to their sought-after schools.
